"Hal Asmar Ellon" is Syrian-Armenian vocalist Lena Chamamyan's second album. You will find in all the 7 tracks,

traditional songs revisited and re-arranged with the addition of brilliant solos by Turkish clarinet player Hüsnü Senlendirici and German accordion player Manfred Leuchter.

In "Hal Asmar Ellon" Lena Chamamyan puts traditional Syrian songs into a new mold that brings together oriental classical singing and jazz arrangements.

The result is an intimate and personal look at the folklore of her country and the story of her people.
